Meet our volunteers

Speakers take stories about the projects and campaigns Christian Aid supports to churches and community groups around Britain and Ireland. They encourage people to get involved through giving, acting and praying for our work.

Pamela Gray is a volunteer speaker

Pamela has been a volunteer for Christian Aid for many years, and is the coordinator for the Ballyclare area. Having got to know and love Africa from a visit to Uganda, Pamela jumped at the chance to visit Zimbabwe, a country with many challenges, with a Christian Aid Team.

This visit made a profound change in her life, Pamela said 'it has been a privilege to visit other churches and groups with the message of Christian Aid’s work overseas.' Pamela knows that she gets tremendous support and resources from Christian Aid to help her with her role, and would encourage others to follow in her footsteps.

Dee Huddleston is an office volunteer and speaker

‘I was privileged to be part of a team to visit India and see, first hand, the work that Christian Aid do through local agencies in some of the poorest and neediest communities there.’

Dee is a volunteer speaker for Christian Aid Ireland. After travelling to India and witnessing Christian Aid’s work, Dee couldn’t wait to tell the stories from the field. She shares her experiences with churches and groups to inspire audiences to support the work of Christian Aid. In her spare time, Dee also volunteers in our Dublin office.
